    Thank you for choosing ExpertWeb to build your Estate & Letting Agents website! We want you to be absolutely delighted with your website and appreciate your time in completing this document. It's not compulsory, and you don't need to complete every section! But the more information you can give us, the better informed your designer will be and the better the outcome for you. Thank you!

  • Your Details

  • We will need to contact them to update the A record when your new website is ready to go live. Optionally you could include the login details for the control panel of your domain if you would prefer that we manage this process for you.
  • You have indicated that you use back-office software to manage your properties. We will need to take a database feed from them, for the properties to display on your website. Please provide the name and contact details for the software company you use, the specific software product you use and your account reference number with them. Please note: you will probably have to give them permission to deal with us. Please mention you are using ExpertWeb / loyaltyMATTERS to build your new website and provide our dev email address which is [email protected] - for them to send us API details.
  • We provide database feeds to Rightmove, Rightmove International, Zoopla and Prime Location. Please confirm which portals you need. If you need us to post to other portals please check with us.
  • Please allow 5 to 6 weeks. If you need your site earlier, please call us to confirm if we can meet your target date.

        • Please describe / list the key messages that your website needs to get across.
        • By default we include contact forms and 'arrange a viewing' forms for all properties on your website. Please describe anything else that needs to be in place to encourage visitors to engage with you.
        • Where applicable we will take content from your existing website. Please confirm who will be responsible for providing this content. Don't forget all banners, call-to-action graphics and buttons all need copywriting! We provide starter copy (for primary pages only) if you need it and can provide copywriting services if required.
        • We will help you plan the launch of your website so that pages currently indexed with Google, are automatically redirected to appropriate pages on your new website. In addition, we will help you populate 'meta data', for top level pages, to help with search engine optimisation (SEO). If you would like us to discuss with you other ways that we can help you drive traffic to your website please tick to let us know.         • Site Structure

          We've listed below typical pages that are included within an Estate and Letting Agency website. Please select all the pages you would like included (we can rename them later if required) together with any additional pages you may need. By default we include: Terms, Privacy and Cookies in the footer of your website.
          Please select all that apply. If you would prefer to rename these, that's fine! Please let your designer know and we will update these for you. When we know which pages you require we will make suggestions to group them into a sensible navigation structure.
        • Our default valuations pages include a form requesting details of the property that needs valuing. This is submitted to you for follow up. As an alternative we can include an 'instant valuation' form instead. ExpertWeb clients get a 50% discount off our ExpertLeads service ExpertLeads. Please select the type of valuation page you need:
        • Do you require a fee / pricing table? If so, please tell us about the fees that you want to include within applicable pages on your website here, so we can design the page(s) to present the information in the best possible way.
        • We include an interactive visual maintenance form to enable tenants to report maintenance issues. This is submitted to you for follow up. Some clients also want us to link to external 'works management' software, such as Fixflo, 10ninety etc. Do you need us to link to an external software provider?
        • Depending upon the pages that you require, we include basic online forms eg contact us form, arrange a viewing form (on individual property pages). In addition, you have the option to include online application forms for tenants and guarantors. Please indicate if any of these are pf interest. Please note, online application forms are stored on a sub-domain eg https://forms.yourdomain.com. The sub-domain will require the purchase and installation of an annual SSL certificate as the data being collected needs to be secure.
        • We include 1x interactive local area page with a Google map showing local restaurants, places of interest and a list of schools / links to OFSTED. If you need additional pages setting up (to show additional local area pages) we charge £99+vat per additional area page, to cover our time researching the schools. (See: http://kathwells.com/gildersome-office as an example).
        • Please provide a list of the local area pages you would like included. Please also include the postcodes that each area page needs to include (we will need this for Google maps).
        • How many branches / offices do you need to include?
        • Please provide a list of each branch address / contact details below. By default we include these as a list on your contact us page. If you prefer, you have the option to have a separate page(s) for each branch / office. If a page per branch is required, please describe below what each page needs to include. Please note: complex requirements such as property listings by branch, multiple contact forms per branch, team members by branch etc will incur additional fees. We will discuss, and agree with you, any additional fees that may apply before we proceed with the design / build.

        • The look and feel of your website

          There is no right or wrong answer when it comes to designing a website. The more we can get to understand your design preferences, the more likely we are to create a design that you will love. Please complete the following questions as fully as possible, providing 'inspiration' / 'links' where possible to help our designers with the creative process.
        • Please describe any specific ideas you have for the design of your website. Where possible please include links to other websites that achieve something similar.
        • Please describe any colour preferences you have your your website. Please include any dislikes that may be applicable.
        • Do you have a preference for photographic or illustrative images for the banners and graphics across the site? Please note: we purchase images from a number of Royalty Free libraries for use with your site. If you require photo editing / manipulation, additional fees would apply.

        • Please include any links to other websites (eg competitors) or files that will help your designer understand your design preferences for the images to use with banners, buttons, graphics, icons etc. If you would rather specify images please provide the image references from either Adobe or Deposit photos

        • Your homepage is probably one of the most important pages on your website. If you have any specific requirements / thoughts / ideas for your homepage, please describe them here. Please provide links to example websites where possible.

        • By default we include an attractive image library, property details, features icons, floor-plans, EPC, brochure download, Google location map, arrange a viewing links and social share links for each property.         • When we have built, and you have approved your website, we will need access to the DNS zone for your domain name to set it live. Please provide contact details below of the technical contact for your domain. If you would like us to make the changes, when the site is ready, please provide login details for the control panel for your domain.
        • There is no need for your email to be managed along with your website. However, if you'd prefer to keep everything together this is a service we can provide. We charge £3.50 per mailbox, per month (+vat). Please confirm the number of mailboxes you need if you need this service.
